The power of positive movement: a visual identity and content creation for boutique pilates brand Heartcore

Heartcore is a pioneer in the boutique fitness and mind-body movement; they’re known as experts in Dynamic Pilates. Like all pioneers, they soon attracted imitators and competitors, many of whom were fast taking their face-to-face offer online to reach a wider audience. Together with a small agency team, I partnered with Heartcore to rebrand, and to help them take their world class fitness experience online, without losing any of the singular Heartcore feeling for which they’re known. I have since continued to support the Heartcore team with content production.

THE POWER OF POSITIVE MOVEMENT

We developed the brand idea Positive Movement; this pertains to the mind-body workout itself, and to the community of Heartcore Warriors. It was important to bring this to life in the visual identity, so we developed a look and feel that’s fresh, light, and inspired by the forces of nature. Although Heartcore ‘grew up’ in London, it originated in California. We wanted to bring the West Coast cool aesthetic in the studios into the identity for a holistic visual experience.
