VISUAL IDENTITY | ILLUSTRATION
A characterful identity for Croiscrag, a collection of wild luxury residences in the Scottish Highlands.
Named after the nearby mountain, Croiscrag was originally built in the 15th century. The property has been extensively refurbished to celebrate its long history and reflect its natural surroundings. The renovated cottages blend art, crafts and antique pieces with design classics and modern items. It was important to the new owners that this approach was reflected in the visual identity. This was brought to life in the graphic assets which include a set of hand-painted illustrations I created, as well as through the creative direction I defined and briefed for the photography.
IMAGE STYLE
I defined an image style designed to capture the spirit of the place. Cinematic landscapes and the vastness of the wild sit alongside sensorial, textural interiors.
HAND-PAINTED ILLUSTRATIONS
I developed a set of hand-painted illustrations to enhance the sense of craft that the owners wanted to emphasise in the identity. Using brush and ink, I created a series inspired by the flora and fauna of the Scottish highlands.
